300g beef, cut into strips*
100g diced onions*
200g mushrooms, sautéed in olive oil*
50g sour gherkins, cut in fine stripes
100ml meat sauce
50ml sunflower oil
Salt & paprika to taste*
1. On high heat, brown the beef strips shortly in oil. Season meat with salt and paprika and stir. Remove beef strips and set aside on a plate.
2. Lower heat and add butter to pan. Sauté the onions & gherkins, then add the meat sauce and mushrooms. Reduce, then add cream and simmer for 1 min. Add meat and Beef Stroganoff is ready to serve.
Notes: Do not add paprika to the heated meat sauce as it will not dissolve. Instead, add to meat in Step 1 as per the cooking instructions.
